PSL Teams 2024
Are you waiting to know how many teams are there in PSL 2024? Probably yes, It is no secret that PSL 8th season is coming and fans from all across the globe are eagerly waiting for this entertaining event. The second most viewed twenty20 league has grabbed wider attention from all around the world in a short period. Initially, this domestic league of Pakistan was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) in September 2015 with 5 teams. To date, there have been seven seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and all of them have an impressive success rate.
Now its 8th season is going to begin on 9th, February 2024 and it is confirmed that the total number of teams in PSL 8 will be 6. Read further if you want to know more about the PSL 2024 participants.
PSL Squad 2024
It is officially announced that the Pakistan Cricket Board will organize this event. Habib Bank Limited will be the sponsor of this PSL League 2024. For sponsorship reasons, this Pakistan Super League has a second name Hbl PSL 2024 and qualified teams are 6 that belong to different cities in Pakistan.

What’s new in this PSL?
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja has announced that he wants to replace the draft system with an auction system for PSL, the 8th season. The main purpose of this auction is to increase the salary caps for the players of PSL 8 Squad. PSL new teams will be allowed four retentions in this PSL. The retention will take place in four rounds of auctions and the remaining 12 players picked through a draft system.
