Islamabad United Squad for PSL 2024
Islamabad United is considered the most hardworking and successful team of PSL because it has won the championship titles two times gracefully in 2016 and 2018. However, this team was founded in 2015 and appeared in the debut season of the PSL. The logo and the name of the team were announced on 22 December 2015 at the polo club Islamabad. This team is currently under the captaincy of Shadab Khan, the youngest Captain in the history of PSL. The overall coach of the team is Azhar Mehmood and the bowling coach is Saeed Ajmal. Islamabad United has the best National and International players in their squad.
This team is owned and sponsored by Leonine Global Investment. Moreover, this team has won their first title in 2016 by defeating the Quetta Gladiators. On the other hand, they won their second title in the third season of PSL by winning against Peshawar Zalmi.

PSL Teams 2024
There is no doubt that cricket fans are waiting anxiously for PSL 2024, the 8th season. The most celebrated event of Pakistan was launched in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board and despite being new in the twenty20 league, it has become the second most viewed league in the world after the Indian Premier League.
Earlier, there were five teams in the Pakistan Super League but now their number has increased to 6.

Islamabad United Wins
Since the team’s formation, it has participated in the PSL every year since its inception in 2015. Islamabad United has won the PSL twice, in 2015 and 2018.
In 2015, they defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final, and in 2018, they defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the final. The team has been one of the most consistent teams in the league, reaching the playoffs in almost every season and winning 2 out of the 5 seasons played till 2021.
